DCMO BOCES is proud to host the Section IV offices, supporting student athletics in 70 schools across five athletic leagues in south central New York.  For more information, about Section IV, please see their website, linked at right.

In addition to providing the Executive Director and staff of Section IV, DCMO supports member schools by coordinating background clearance checks of sports officials, who are required to pass a New York State background check.  A list of officials in Section IV who are cleared appears on the list linked at right.

Clearances are issued by the Office of School Personnel Review and Accountability (OSPRA) at the New York State Education Department. If you wish to verify that your fingerprints are on file at OSPRA, call (518) 473-2998 or e-mail ospra@mail.nysed.gov.  For more information about fingerprinting requirements in New York State, please click on the NYSED logo at right.
